Why CORE Exists
CORE’s mission is to progress the outdoor industry by fostering participation, progression, and belonging through outdoor sports, with a primary focus on empowering underrepresented youth.
We have produced community-building events and formed brand partnerships to develop affordable and sustainable products since 2019.
CORE is rooted in snowsports, and we are currently expanding our network, reach, and programming to include multi-season outdoor recreation, with the same enduring purpose of creating access, building community, and fostering inclusivity.
How We Do It
In 2025, CORE became a registered 501c3 nonprofit, creating a stronger foundation for our work ahead.
In 2026, CORE partnered with ski areas across North America to produce the five-stop CORENATION Rail Jam Tour. Each stop supported a regional nonprofit partner, raising funds and awareness for its work.
Beyond event-based fundraising, CORE pursues grant funding and develops brand partnerships to support its programming and collaborative work with nonprofit partners.
Where we
are going
In addition to the 2027 CORENATION Rail Jam Tour, CORE will launch a new micro-grant program designed to support individuals working to break into the snowsports and outdoor industries.
We are excited to launch this new micro-grant program and excited to see where our community will take it.
